Stone Bridge Volleyball Advances

Stone Bridge cruised in its first-round Northern Region match on Monday, beating Washington and Lee, 25-11, 25-13, 25-13.

Stats for Stone Bridge versus Washington and Lee:

Lily Vera 14 assists, 11 pts, 2 aces, 9 digs

Sarah Norton 8 kills, 3 pts, 2 aces, 2 blocks

Lindsay Gill 9 digs, 7 pts, 6 aces

Amanda Miller 3 pts, 1 ace, 6 digs

Alexis Chism 3 kills, 2 blocks

Vanessa Paige 3 kills

Sara Stancik 8 pts, 2 aces, 1 kill

In addition, Loudoun Valley will host Woodbridge on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the first round of the AAA Northwest Region tournament. And Heritage will travel to Western Albemarle for a match on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the first round of the AA Region II tournament.
