Sterling Park Shootings, Coat Donations

Sexual Assaulter Himself In
The Loudoun Times-Mirror reports that Martin Jose Morales-Mancia, 24, charged with burglary and sexual assaulting a woman, turned himself in to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Sunday night. On Aug. 29, Morales-Mancia entered an elderly woman’s home on Ironwood Rood in Sterling Park and assaulted her. He is currently being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.

Sterling Attacker Remains on the Loose
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the Sterling Park attacker who shot a 17-year-old female and 18-year-old male late Friday night. Leesburg Today has the full story.

Coat Closet Donations
The Dulles-area Kiwanis Club is organizing donations of used coats for the community’s less fortunate. Coats may be donated at the Sterling Community Center, Cascades Library, Ashburn Library, Beyond Wellness Chiropractic, Fuddruckers Ashburn, South Riding Town Hall and Arcola Community Center until Sept. 27, the Loudoun Independent reports.
